Seminar on China-Belgium Direct Equity Investment Fund

This investment seminar will offer insights into Belgium's state-backed equity fund, first launched in 2004, and its commitment to fostering long-term economic growth. Minister of States Rik Daems, alongside financial experts and Koen Van Loo (CEO, Belgian Federal Participation and Investment Organization), will outline the fund's strategy, highlighting previous successful investments in key industries such as semiconductors, high-end equipment manufacturing, and life sciences. The seminar aims to identify and engage with Belgian companies operating in Beijing that could be potential investment targets for the state-backed equity investment fund launched in November 2004. The fund, with an eight-year bond structure, seeks to invest in promising companies in China, particularly within key industries such as semiconductors, high-end equipment manufacturing, and life sciences/biopharma.

本次投资研讨会将深入解读比利时于2004年首次推出的国家支持的股权基金，及其对促进长期经济增长的承诺。国务部长瑞克·戴姆斯先生（Rik Daems）, 将偕同金融专家们及比利时国家国际投资公司（SFPIM）首席执行官柯恩·范卢先生（Koen Van Loo），共同概述该基金的战略，并重点介绍其在半导体、高端装备制造和生命科学等关键行业的以往成功投资案例。
