On June 13, BenCham Beijing, in cooperation with the Embassy of Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg in China, is pleased to invite you to the launch of the Sino Benelux Business Survey 2018 results at the Netherlands Embassy in Beijing.
For this special occasion, we are honored to have the presence of Mr. Karel van Hecke, Head of the Economic Section at the Belgium Embassy, Mr. Bas Pulles, Deputy Head of Mission at the Netherlands Embassy and Mr. Rol Reiland, Deputy Head of Mission at the Luxembourg Embassy.
To present the results, we welcome Mr. Raoul Schweicher, Senior Manager Corporate Finance at MS Advisory. Raoul has been living and working in China since 2010. Before joining MS Advisory, Raoul has worked for Deloitte in Europe and for a German accounting firm in Shanghai. He has a good understanding of legal compliance, accounting, financial reports, consolidation, HR and ERP related projects between headquarters and Chinese subsidiaries. Raoul holds a Master degree in Global Management from HEC Liège-Business school. He speaks German, Luxemburgish, French, English and has a good knowledge of Chinese.
About the Sino Benelux Business Survey
How have Benelux companies active in China performed in 2017? Are Benelux companies more impacted by new rules and regulations in China and have Benelux companies experienced any business opportunities due to governmental policies such as the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI)? What do companies consider about the current business climate in China? Does China remain still an important market for Benelux businesses?
This year's Sino Benelux Business Survey aims to answer these questions and provide insight and expectations of the Chinese market for Benelux businesses.
This year's Sino Benelux Business Survey has been organized by the Benelux Chamber of Commerce across China, supported by the official representations of Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg in China and in partnership with MS Advisory in China.
In total, 166 companies have participated in the Sino Benelux Business Survey (93% directly related with the Benelux region) of which 69% are established in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangdong province.

Senior Manager Corporate Finance at Moore Stephens AdvisoryRaoul Schweicher is the Senior Manager Corporate Finance at MS Advisory, a financial advisory firm based in Shanghai, which is part of Moore Stephens Belgium and member of Moore Stephens International network. MS Advisory has been guiding since 2011 many foreign SMEs in the Chinese market with accounting, tax, annual compliance and corporate services in China.
