As his day job, Mr. Bernard Dewit runs a law firm in Brussels -Dewit Law Office. But more than that, he has also been the Chairman of the Belgian-Chinese Chamber of Commerce since 1996.

Mr. Dewit has been actively promoting China-Europe legal and judicial cooperation for more than 30 years, and has broad experience in advising both Chinese investors in Europe, and European investors in China.

In 2017 Mr. Dewit received the Chinese Government Friendship Award.

Michiel holds a Master degree in Business Administration from the University of Amsterdam. Michiel has been working since 2013 as a consultant in Beijing and Shanghai. He has been supporting many small- and medium sized enterprises and individuals in China on corporate structure and (international) tax issues. He has broad experience working with clients in Agriculture, Food & Beverage, Consumer Goods and the Automotive industry in China.
